60% of Seattle Parents Concidering Leaving Seattle Public Schools

Seattle Public Schools (SPS) survey showed that nearly 60% of adults with children in SPS surveyed last year said they had considered dis-enrolling their children because of concerns about education quality. According to the survey findings, 86% of those who had dis-enrolled their children said education quality was among top three reasons why.

Forty-two percent said changes to the highly capable cohort program for advanced learners were among the top reasons they considered leaving.

The district received $100,000 from the state Legislature to fund an enrollment study even though its broke and could have used those funds to provide any number of benefits to students.

Did SPS really need to take a survey for $100k to understand they suck at teaching kids? Lock outs, lock downs and virtue signaling curriculum apparently is not popular!
